Coordinates and collaborates with Program Curriculum Development Teams to implement and maintain up-to-date and historical curricula information in many formats including CMS and Website. Maintains/revises the HCC Catalog regarding curriculum, course descriptions, other relevant instructional pages, HCC Web degree plans and annually produces and posts updated program-advising degree sheets. Performs all other duties assigned by the Director of Curriculum as needed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCoordinate and participate in all Curriculum and Catalog activities.Develop curriculum, training materials, handbooks, PowerPoint presentations, and training and/or video materials. Maintain all forms related to curriculum up-to-date in multiple formats.Collaborate closely with the Institute for Instructional Engagement & Development on implementing and maintaining a System-wide model for creating curriculum, maintaining and changing curriculum degree plans for all programs, and the use of curriculum software.Work one-on-one with Program Coordinators/ Directors as necessary to maintain requested changes to degree plans, website/ software related to curriculum, catalog, or website and update regularly.Assist with day-to-day work as it related to curriculum per the Curriculum Office.Coordinate the preparation of instructional materials for the College Catalog, such as course descriptions, degree plan changes, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) site maintenance ensuring all information is up-to-date, accurate, and relevant.Prepare, develop, and post the Annual Advising Degree Plans on the HCC website.Work closely with the Director of Curriculum and Communications Department to enforce use of, and adapt, new content to approved web templates, guidelines and standards.Work with the Director of Curriculum to define content categories as new categories arise for consistency and adherence to HCC Brand Standards.Produce major documents such as the college catalog, degree plans, web pages, etc. accurately and error-free.Work closely with Communications Department to ensure that content displayed on the Web portal is designed to effectively meet the Marketing goals and objectives of the Curriculum Office. This duty may also involve participation in web/and software content template maintenance, design and development. Work closely with the Director of Curriculum to ensure all curriculum changes are correctly posted on the HCC Website, THECB Website, Catalog and Content Management Systems (CMS) updates, changes, daily activities. Work with the Director of Curriculum to prepare for the CORE Committee and Curriculum Council meetings and agendas.Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.QUALIFICATIONSEducation & Experience

    Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or education related fields requiredMaster's degree in Education related fields preferred5 years of Teaching or Training experience in instructional design, operating systems or related work experience requiredExperience in a community college, distance education, communications, marketing, web development (coding), web content management, or content management systems preferred

Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events.
