Job Description

The Coordinator - Business Development will have responsibility for a variety of tasks in support of the overall business development efforts principally for the Corporate & Securities-Technology practice. This position is based in our Silicon Valley office.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Preparing client presentation and pitch materials.
  • Facilitating and coordinating award and league table submissions.
  • Facilitating updates to attorney biographical information and practice descriptions maintained on our website.
  • Maintaining content used in our experience management database, deal lists and proposal generator tool.
  • Managing operations related to client events and webinars, such as mailing and RSVP lists, invitation preparation, event postings, sponsorship advertisements, social media postings, booths and collateral material, webinar arrangements and post-event follow up.
  • Providing research support as assigned to conduct and/or review research on competitors, prospects, and clients.
  • Handling other requests or projects on an as-needed basis and as assigned.

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, web conferencing software tools and knowledge of other applications specific to the legal field.


The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in marketing or communications (preferred) with at least 2 years of relevant experience in business development or marketing, preferably in a law firm or other professional services environment. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.
