About the Position:

This role is an on-campus, in-person position.

The Coordinator 1 provides general office and administrative support, such as updating website information, managing CXMN enrollment group and managing internship documents.

Essential Functions:

  • Receive students at front desk, answer inquiries. Handle main office telephone line.
  • Assist with maintaining students' records. Scan documents into workflow, electronic filing. Maintain forms. For CXMN, manage applications, enroll students into the student group, send emails as necessary, and monitor the student group
  • Assist in graduation processing and with graduation ceremonies. Assist with Beta Gamma Sigma.
  • Assist director and academic advisors as needed; other duties as required.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

A minimum of two years' of full-time work experience providing clerical, administrative or customer service support in an office environment is required. Experience in a university setting is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication skills. A strong customer service orientation is essential

Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks. A strong attention on focus to detail is essential.

Candidate must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of MS Office. Experience with or a knowledge of PeopleSoft is preferred.
