Responsible for hardware and firmware development projects that will drive the future of Mestek's digital control platforms. Involved with every aspect of the Control Development Life Cycle.

• Microcontrollers
• Analog and Digital I/O
• Asynchronous and Synchronous serial communications
• Power Supplies
• Touchscreen Displays

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all aspects of product development from concept through production.
• Develop electronic circuits to perform functions per requirements
• Generate electrical documentation (schematics, BOMs, test plans)
• Develop prototype circuit boards for verification of design and software development
• Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, and firmware design engineers
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and react to changing priorities.
• Maintain knowledge of computer engineering trends and new technology

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years experience
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB Design
• Must have hardware integration, test, and debug experience
• Experience with embedded operating systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
• Experience with developing embedded software in C
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a drive to solve problems
• Ability to use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, function generators
• HVAC knowledge a plus
