Due to growth and demand for our services, we are in need of hiring for a Controller that possesses strong experience with Syteline, financial analysis, and Excel

What You Will Be Doing - Establishing and maintaining financial records and internal controls in accordance with corporate standards will allow you to direct the company's accounting, budgeting, and task costing processes.
- To evaluate operating results in terms of profitability and performance against financial budget and other targets, statistical and accounting information must be developed, analyzed, and interpreted.
- Complete the year-end and month-end closing processes, and create the financial reporting package.
- Provide PBCs and other support as needed for internal and external auditors.
- Make a budget and financial projections.
- Keep the business's fixed asset records up to date, and create requests and justifications for capital expenditures.
- Ensure adherence to all corporate, payroll, sales tax, and other applicable tax regulations at all levels of government.
- Maintain the company's ERP and other business information systems under your direction.
- Working with departments like production, sales/marketing, parts, purchasing, engineering, etc., and serving as a financial and systems resource.
- Be a team leader to promote process improvements across the company and a source of leadership to encourage successful expansion.
- Implement and carry out cost-saving measures.
- Team members should be coached, educated, and developed, and their accounting performance should also be evaluated.
- Work closely with the Shared Service organization to develop and uphold credit terms and collection procedures, as well as to limit outlays.
- Create the accounting department's budget and staffing needs.
- Within the limits of the budget, control spending
- Maintain desired amounts of net working capital
- Work with Corporate Treasury to coordinate guarantees and standby letters of credit
- Review and approve the location's biweekly payroll using Corporate Payroll
What You Need for this Position - B.S. in Accounting or Finance
- 6-8 years of experience in accounting in the manufacturing industry
- Strong financial analysis background
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- Syteline Experience
- Analytical abilities to gather and investigate data, gather and synthesize complicated or varied information, apply intuition and experience to supplement data, and build work routines and procedures
- Be a proven, active team player who is motivated to achieve company goals.
- 10% travel required
