Job Title: Director of Finance/Controller

Location: Mayfield Heights, OH (In-office)

A growing manufacturing company in Mayfield Heights, OH is seeking a Controller to join their growing team! As the Controller, you'll lead our finance team in providing accurate and timely financial reports, managing the accounting close process, and optimizing cash flow. You'll also establish controls to maintain data integrity and mentor your team for professional growth.

Duties:

• Leading all activities of the finance team, including the preparation of internal and external financial statements, annual forecasts, audits, and budgets.
• Managing the monthly accounting close process and conducting analytical reviews of operating results to maintain accurate accounting records.
• Developing and implementing a cash-flow projection and reporting process to optimize cash balances and returns.
• Establishing and maintaining controls to verify the integrity of all finance and accounting systems and data.
• Providing leadership, planning, and supervision to finance department employees, fostering their professional development and growth.

Qualifications:

• MBA, Master of Accountancy, CPA, or equivalent experience
• 10 years of finance/accounting experience in manufacturing
• 5 years of leadership experience
• Strong ethical standards and CPA compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Power BI, and advanced Excel
• Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills
