RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Contract Lead in Madison, WI.Duties Include:

• Contract Lead locates, contracts, and purchases capable sources of supply of goods and/or services on behalf of the company; Applies strategic sourcing skills to mitigate inherent supply chain risks, including data risks, to successfully contract with a third party; Conducts RFPs, negotiations, and coordinates applicable Legal and IS Security Reviews
• Leads negotiations with suppliers to obtain desired results; Seeks ways to maximize mutually beneficial outcomes
• Applies strategic sourcing skills to mitigate inherent supply chain risks, including data risks, to successfully contract with a third party; Conducts RFPs, negotiations, and coordinates applicable Legal and IS Security Reviews
• Develops contract terms and conditions by negotiating with suppliers, involving internal subject matter experts as appropriate to achieve appropriate risk-based provisions while supporting overall business objectives
• As a Contract Lead, you will establish, develop, and maintain productive relationships with assigned business unit leaders to understand their business objectives and sourcing needs
• Assists and supports stakeholders in contract management from award to completion or termination
• Assists and supports stakeholders in management of supplier; Handles escalated supplier issues

REQUIREMENTS:

• Has experience in sourcing and procuring IT goods and services
• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
