CUMULUS MEDIA | Charleston, SC has an immediate opening for a full time Continuity Director for our 5-station cluster.

Cumulus | Charleston, SC currently features 5 stations in Charleston and surrounding counties. Our stations include: 93.1 WWWZ Urban, 95.1 WSSX - CHR, 107.3 WMGL - Urban AC, 96.9 WIWF - Classic Hits and 1250 AM WTMA - Talk. Plus, a vast array of SEM, SEO and Social Media digital assets. The cluster of 5 stations reaches thousands of listeners daily.

We are seeking a detailed-oriented and self-motivated applicant with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants must be able to handle multi-tasking and the ability to work well under pressure while handling multiple deadlines. Applicants should have prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to troubleshoot and remedy situations quickly and calmly. Responsibilities:

• Track commercial scripts.
• Co-op Processing
• Ensure copy/creative is received and accurately entered into WidOrbit or VCreative in a timely manner.
• Work with Production, Sales, Programming, and clients to ensure timely and accurate execution of traffic instructions and spot copy.
• Complete broadcast affidavits.
• Strong problem solving and research skills to ensure both Wide Orbit and Vcreative systems are accurate, and match is critical for the success of this position.
• Back up receptionist duties, answering main phone lines, and sales assistant duties.
• Administrative duties not limited to but including maintaining and ordering office supplies, incoming and out-going mail distribution, and processing client invoicing for mailings.
• Distribution of winner prizes

Qualifications:

• Ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Continuity and Commercial Traffic Experience a plus
• Wide Orbit and vCreative Software Experience a plus
• Strong Internet Application Skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Software Applications Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Flawless eye for detail
• Team Player Attitude
• Ability to learn systems and new software quickly and thoroughly.
• Strong creative and organization skills
