ECS is seeking a Communication Presentation Specialist to work in our Falls Church, VA office.

Job Description:
Develops messaging and communication assets for internal (executive-level stakeholders) and external (trade shows, suppliers, business partners) designed to inform and to promote USPS cyber security policies, procedures, and business strategies. This position Supports the Postal Service's Cybersecurity Risk Management program, building awareness around USPS cyber risk management policies, procedures and business strategies, primarily by developing professional and persuasive PowerPoint presentations.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Participates in the development of communication strategies that identify the appropriate objectives, goals, tools and media available to communicate with executive managers and employees across the Postal Service enterprise.
  • Develop and design presentations-primarily in PowerPoint-that advance key business objectives and tell the story through clean, concise, and well-organized slides.
  • Interprets complex concepts and translate them into easy-to-understand graphs, charts, and visual graphics, for stakeholders that include VP and C-Suite personnel, Board of Governors, and various internal management audiences.
  • Distills clear messaging while incorporating smart, impactful visual solutions to drive major enterprise cyber security decisions.
  • Participates in the development of communication strategies that identify the appropriate objectives, goals, tools and media available to communicate with executive managers and employees across the Postal Service enterprise.
  • Collaborates with senior staff to convert written content into visual presentations.
  • Assists in writing and often edits other team members' white papers, articles, executive briefs, policy documents, and other materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Use data analysis, graphic design, and appropriate graphics and technology tools to present information in a way that is accurate, accessible, and appealing.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Solid knowledge of PowerPoint 2013 (over 50% of the job content is working with PowerPoint)
  • Experience developing or interpreting infographics (data analysis and data visualization)
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple projects and priorities with demanding deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management
  • A strong desire to learn new skills, software and capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate but also capable of managing and delivering on deadlines as an independent performer
  • Solution-oriented, proactive and team spirited
  • Experiences preferred: 3 years experiences with some knowledge or component of cyber security topics
