Job Summary

Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Ancillary Programs, the Commercial Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day processes and reporting for the Commercial product line. The Commercial Program Manager will execute day to day business processes including but not limited to running implementation meetings with employer groups, compiling, and distributing reports, and overseeing internal and offshore teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Function as a liaison between employer groups, brokers, offshore team, and internal teams to implement supplemental benefit programs from conception to completion, while identifying and resolving any potential issues prior to go live.
  • Effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, brokers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of supplemental benefit programs.
  • Facilitate virtual meetings with internal and external teams, including the preparation and distribution of call agendas, meeting materials, and post-meeting activities.
  • Effectively track member and client data and convey information such as important dates, membership counts, opt-outs, and pipeline group information to upper management upon request.
  • Ensure file exchange reports are consistently created by the team and provided at designated times and dates on an ongoing basis.
  • Operate at a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience within the supplemental health insurance industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven diplomacy and a professional demeanor for effective communication with external clients, internal team members, brokers, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Must be a critical thinker, able to make decisions in the best interests of the program and critical partners.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft tools, especially Excel. Experience with V-lookups and Power Queries preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills are essential for this position.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven decision-making skills and ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments.
  • Must be able to work and act independently and be self-directed.

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The pay for this position is $95,000/year in our geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
