Kforce's client, one of New York City's leading real iconic real estate firms, is seeking a Commercial Leasing Coordinator Act as first point of contact for retail tenant inquiries, billing questions or lease interpretation.Responsibilities:
  • The Commercial Leasing Coordinator will monitor tenant accounts for unpaid charges or changes in their account
  • Collect payments, sales, or tenant documents as required by the lease
  • Generate monthly arrears reports for NYC retail tenants
  • Charge late fees or returned check fees per the lease
  • Audit accounts for errors or discrepancies and submit changes to accounting team for processing
  • Provide to tenants any documents or correspondence required from the landlord
  • Review any new lease documents provided by leasing team
  • Upload new lease information and documents into MRI and company portal
  • Update internal spreadsheets and trackers with the new information
  • Maintain tenant sales/gross revenue reports
  • As a Commercial Leasing Coordinator, you will charge tenants any billbacks, or provide credits determined by management team
  • Collect and maintain up to date proof of insurance information for all tenants
  • Correspond with co-op/condo boards and maintain our accounts
  • Review co-op/condo annual budgets and set up any recurring payment increases
  • Process any other payments for charges billed by the co-op/condo boards
  • Create annual retail budgets required by finance
  • Coordinate with leasing and management on any income or cost estimates for budgeting purposes
  • The Commercial Leasing Coordinator will assist with Office or DC collections duties if needed


  • 5+ years of related commercial real estate experience with extensive lease exposure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
