Essential Job Duties:Act as the primary instructor/expert for the marching band color guard. Be responsible for all elements of running the Color Guard program both during marching band and the winter indoor season. Duties/responsibilities are based on the needs and performances of the organization. Responsibilities could include any and/or all of the following: Rehearsal skills, performance skills, (both individual and group), show design, costume and silk design, ability to communicate well with others. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while producing quality instruction and choreography on tight timelines. Essential Functions include
∙ Assisting in show planning and design
∙ Teaching technique/indoor program
∙ Attending Performances in conjunction with the marching band
∙ Recruiting (meetings, auditions and clinics);
∙ Design and production of performances during the year
∙ Budgeting for Supplies, Professional/Technical Services and Capital Equipment
