Description

The Clinical Training Specialist is responsible for facilitating a variety of performance-based learning events that may include, but are not limited to general associate, management, sales, clinical, technical and operations training. Training often focuses on more abstract, less concrete soft skills training meant to influence behavior and buy-in from others.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Facilitates learning events that are performance-based in nature.
• Delivers synchronous and asynchronous learning events using varied media in virtual and global environments.
• Employs rapid course development methodologies to quickly meet client needs.
• Exercises classroom management including learner performance and escalates issues to Learning & Development and client leadership when necessary.
• Measures, tracks and evaluates learner and client satisfaction.
• Thinks and acts globally and is aware of learning and cultural differences both domestically and globally that drive learner effectiveness.
• Keeps technical skills updated.
• Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in related field and a minimum of 4 years training experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Four years of clinical or sales experience or certification/license in the appropriate field may be required.

Preferred Experience

• Previous international training experience may be required.
• Proficency in Post Acute Solutions, DMEPOS processes highly preferred.
• Post Acute Solutions proficiency in Post Acute Care Medicare, Post Acute Care Commercial, Home Health, preferred.
• Experience as a PAS mentor, preceptor, or lead therapy or nurse reviewer.
• Experience coaching or training PAS processes to nurse & therapy reviewers.
• Experience collaborating with offshore training team members and associates.
• Participation in Post Acute Solution training launches, DMEPOS or PAC.

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy.
