Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Client and External Audit Manager to join our Global Computershare Investor Services (CIS) team.
A role you will love
As the Client and External Audit Manager, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across all levels in the business and lead a team of skilled analysts. You'll effectively interact with internal and external clients, statutory and professional bodies and external Audit partners, to deliver effective outcomes. You'll also be responsible for the delivery of the Third-Party Assurance program, the coordination of client on-site visits, contract reviews and requests for internal control information which included questionnaires, queries and Requests for Information (RFI)/Request for Proposal (RFP)).
To be successful in this role, you'll bring a strong understanding of the regulatory and external competitor landscape and of how the functions of the enterprise work together. You'll also be a competent negotiator and relationship manager, with the ability to work at senior levels of the organization. You'll bring a passion for coaching team members, and you positively embrace diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Oversight and facilitation of the client and external audit program
- Supporting the development, implementation and delivery of the Third-Party Assurance (TPA) Strategy in compliance with external guidelines (e.g. SOC, ISAE)
- Supporting the identification of cost efficiencies and remaining up to date with the latest industry assurance reporting
- Maintaining an effective and efficient controlled process for the delivery of Client Assurance requests (including client contracting), aligned with Computershare policies, standards and procedures
- Effective TPA Program Management to ensure the timely completion of audits and mitigation of delivery obstacles
- Develop & deliver an ongoing educational and awareness program for internal staff
- Communicating effectively and confidently throughout Computershare, including regional senior management, business heads and clients
What will you bring to the role?
- 5+ years of risk and controls experience, including IT & information security, preferably within an Internal Audit or Risk Management role
- 2+ years of leadership/coaching/mentorship experience
- Previous experience of effectively managing a range of complex situations providing advice, guidance and coaching to your allocated team members
- Previous experience of all aspects third party assurance disciplines in terms of processes, procedures, systems, theories and practices
- Previous experience delivering against defined goals and targets
- Experience leading continuous improvement of process, systems and policies
- Experience with internal audit cost centre management for a defined business area
- Previous experience of analyzing a range of internal and external data and insight from a variety of sources, making appropriate recommendations
- Previous experience delivering volume, quality output, while adhering to agreed timescales
Bonus points if you have:- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Qualified Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)/Chartered Accountant (ACA) or working towards the achievement of a relevant Risk or Audit qualification
