Job Description Summary
The President Cleaner takes on the crucial role of maintaining cleanliness within the esteemed President's house, office, and providing support to the facilities team on a college campus. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and a dedication to upholding the highest cleaning standards for the President and their spouse. The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services.
Job Description

1. Residential Cleaning:
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks in the President's house, including bedrooms, living areas, kitchens, and bathrooms.
- Ensure that the President's residence is always immaculately clean and well-maintained.

2. Office Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize the President's office space, maintaining a professional and organized work environment.
- Pay attention to detail in preserving the cleanliness of the office furnishings and equipment.

3. Facilities Support:
- Collaborate with the facilities team to assist in general cleaning duties across the college campus.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment in academic buildings, common areas, and facilities.

4. Specialized Cleaning Tasks:
- Handle specialized cleaning assignments as directed by the President and their spouse.
- Execute detailed cleaning tasks in specific areas or for special events hosted by the President.

5. Personalized Services:
- Fulfill additional duties assigned by the President and their spouse related to cleaning and household maintenance.
- Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when addressing the unique cleaning needs of the President's household.

6. Event Support:
- Assist in setting up and cleaning event spaces for official functions and private events organized by the President and their spouse.
- Ensure that event venues are clean, presentable, and ready for use.

7. Waste Management:
- Manage waste disposal in compliance with campus recycling and waste management guidelines.
- Monitor waste levels, empty bins regularly, and maintain cleanliness in waste disposal areas.

8. Safety and Security:
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning tasks.
- Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or security concerns to the appropriate authorities promptly

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

- Previous experience in professional cleaning roles, preferably in a high-profile or institutional setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment for different surfaces.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform cleaning tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

**Additional Information:**

- The President Cleaner reports to the Facilities Manager or Custodial Supervisor and may receive directives from the President's Office for specific tasks.
- This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to enhancing the cleanliness and ambiance of the President's household and office.
