SC Data Center, Inc. (SCDC) is seeking a Chief Information and Technology Officer to support the strategic goals of the company and affiliate partners via the leadership of the Information Technology teams. As an affiliate of Colony Brands, one of the world's largest and most successful direct marketing catalog and e-commerce companies, we support many diverse business functions and services.

The CITO is a strategic leader for the organization, reporting to the CEO, and ultimately responsible for ensuring alignment of Information Technology work with business priorities. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with business partners on projects that drive business results and will positively impact a family-owned, people-oriented company in business for almost a century. What You'll Do:
As Chief Information and Technology Officer and member of the executive leadership team, you must collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure functional groups are aligned on IT services and expectations to meet the needs and goals of the enterprise. You'll be responsible for providing overall vision, leadership, strategy, and direction for company-wide IT services.

You'll be accountable for ensuring your team operates strategically and can mobilize key initiatives. This role requires strong financial acumen to oversee the department budget and to leverage investments strategically for maximum benefit. You'll also be responsible for:

• Driving the development and execution of a forward-looking IT strategy that aligns with the company's business goals, enhances operational efficiency, and delivers a competitive edge.
• Leading the strategic execution of the IT roadmap, ensuring the delivery of scalable, reliable, and innovative technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business at large.
• Providing leadership and direction to the IT teams including Business Applications, Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Security, and IT Operations, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Strengthening cross-functional relationships by partnering with business units to understand their challenges and objectives, ensuring IT initiatives are closely aligned with business strategies.
• Championing a company-wide culture that values curiosity, innovation, and an entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging the exploration of new technologies and approaches to drive business growth.
• Investing in the development of high-performing IT teams, nurturing talent, and fostering an environment that promotes professional growth and job satisfaction.
• Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and policies that impact technology use and data management, implementing risk mitigation strategies to protect company assets.
• Directing the development and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to safeguard sensitive customer and company data against emerging threats, ensuring trust and compliance in all digital transactions.
• Overseeing the IT budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources for maximum impact and return on investment, while fostering a culture of cost efficiency and financial accountability.

Qualifications

What It Takes:
We are seeking a confident, yet humble, IT leader who not only brings senior leadership experience and a strong work ethic to the table but also possesses a proven track record of fostering innovation within the technology space. This visionary individual must thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional, and collaborative team environment, consistently driving creative solutions and pioneering strategies to navigate complex challenges. The ideal candidate will be adept at leveraging emerging technologies and innovative practices to deliver transformative business outcomes, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptation to change. All executive team members are required to physically work onsite at our Monroe, WI headquarters.

Ideally, you'll have at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or related discipline. In addition, we are looking for:
• At least 12 years in a senior leadership role with a proven track record in managing diverse, cross-functional teams and holding significant accountability for strategic IT initiatives and outcomes.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the information technology domain, with a demonstrated history of increasing responsibility in areas such as digital transformation, enterprise architecture, data management, and cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated excellence in developing talent, leading high-performance teams, and inspiring staff to achieve exceptional results through effective leadership and mentoring.
• Extensive experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and maximizing ROI on technology investments. Proven capability in negotiating and managing contracts with vendors and service providers to support business objectives.
• Mature judgment and strategic advisory skills, with the ability to provide practical, solutions-oriented advice and to make sound decisions in a complex business environment.
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for addressing complex challenges with innovative solutions.
• A steadfast commitment to ethical practices and integrity in all business dealings, reinforcing a culture of trust and accountability within the organization.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, and non-technical audiences.
• A strong orientation towards innovation, with a history of leveraging emerging technologies and methodologies to drive business value. Agility in adapting to rapidly changing business environments and technology landscapes.
