SUMMARY

Part of an exciting development team at MAHLE with focus on heat exchanger components and subsystem. Will be responsible for CFD analysis or coordinating the CFD analysis with internal MAHLE simulation services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• CFD analysis for customer projects
• Presentation of CFD analysis results internally to the project teams and externally with customer
• Proposal of design improvements based on the CFD analysis results
• Directly interface with development teams to optimize component and system design
• Opportunity for direct communication of design solutions internally and externally with customer
• Collaboration and coordination of CFD tasks with off-shored and global resources
• Support acquisition design development with CFD analysis and engineering judgment
• Support annual CFD conferences with fellow CFD engineering resources globally
• Support the license usage and computational resources to maximize efficiency
• Support project teams in developmental objectives for cost reduction.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor, Master or PhD (preferable Master or higher) in Engineering. Specialization: fluid dynamics, thermodynamic, computational fluid dynamic (CFD)

• Professional experience in the automotive industry in CFD (OEM, supplier or engineering services) Mechanical engineering, aeronautical or aerospace engineering, chemical or process engineering, physics

• Knowledge on vehicles thermo-management (AC systems, powertrain cooling)
• Software knowledge preferred: Commercial CFD-Software (preferred STAR-CCM ) CAD basic knowledge (optional)
