Description:

The Cash Reconcilement Specialist will be responsible for performing all functions required to operationally support and reconcile 400+ Armored Carrier vaults within strict deadlines. The incumbent will handle vault reconcilement functions including: daily reconcilement of each assigned vault, researching and resolving variances, filing of claims, processing of vault adjustments, in-depth research and balancing of financial transactions to the database. The incumbent will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The incumbent will develop relationships with other departments, couriers and customers to resolve problems. This position requires that the incumbent independently handle daily, weekly and monthly reporting on exception vaults and escalate issues as needed. The incumbent must also be able to perform a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard vault reconcilement procedures or related financial areas. The incumbent may participate and/or coordinate projects, request, etc. and will be called upon to assist and train others.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or 2 years of experience in a related field in a detail oriented operations environment is required.
• Experience in ATM operations, bank operations, retail banking or other banking capacity preferred.
• Practical knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures for settlement processing, as well as basic knowledge of other Cash Connect functions, and the technology that supports those business lines is required.
• Must be proficient with MS Office and Excel.
• Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
