Adams and Martin Group is actively recruiting experienced and committed Case Managers/Paralegals for a Bankruptcy position. (Debtors)
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting attorneys in the preparation, drafting, and filing of bankruptcy documents, especially related to Chapters 7 & 13.
  • Offering support in foreclosure, debt collection lawsuit, repossession, and wage garnishment cases.
  • Proactively communicating with clients regarding case status, procedural steps, and documentation requirements.
  • Organizing, maintaining, and managing case files and documentation.
  • Conducting comprehensive legal research and drafting pertinent legal documents.
  • Liaising effectively with courts, trustees, and other involved parties.
  • Ensuring rigorous compliance with all court-imposed deadlines.
  • Staying updated on the latest changes, amendments, and trends in bankruptcy and debt-related laws.
    • Qualifications:
  • Associates degree, Paralegal certification, or equivalent experience (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a specific focus on bankruptcy, foreclosures, debt collection lawsuits, and related domains.
  • Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
