Job Description

Education: Required - High School Diploma, or equivalent

Preferred - 2-year associates degree from accredited program/institution, or two or more years of college-level course work in a related field

Experience: Required - 1 plus years related experience and/or training

Preferred - 2 plus years related experience and/or training

Summary: The case aide is responsible for providing direct ancillary support to case management teams by using sound professional judgment and best practices to ensure; swift case enrollment and closure submission, administrative operations, including referral distribution, tracking, and national data management.

To successfully perform this job, the employee may be expected to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990:

Essential Functions:
1. Ensure case acceptance and closure occurs nationally according to program and ORR protocol.
2. Ensure all cases are accurately recorded in ETO and that program records match census records.
3. Support assigned case management team.
4. Meet all deadlines by program supervisor and federal partners.
5. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish.

Measurable Deliverables:
1. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
2. Enter information in Efforts to Outcomes as required by agency policy and procedures.
3. Review Efforts to Outcomes and the Office of Refugee Resettlement portal for compliance with Office of Refugee Resettlement guidelines.
4. Assist in acceptance and distribution of project caseload to ensure all cases are accounted for and effectively assigned within the allotted time frame.
5. Monitor closing reports and closing report submissions to ensure program compliance with federal standards.
6. Assist in tracking program data daily to ensure compliance with program expectations.
7. Regularly report program case status, including assignments, challenges and/or concerns regarding deadlines to supervisor.
8. Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions and operations.
9. Participate in workshops, seminars, education programs and activities that promote professional growth and development.
10. Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics and additional information in accordance with agency policies, licensing and/or contract requirements.
11. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor.
12. Implement BCFS safety protocols including evacuating with children and other staff in case of
an emergency.
13. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of child and program operations.
14. Maintain Compass Connections HHS professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.

Credentials, Skills and Abilities:

1. Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the position including but not limited to:
•First Aid •CPR •Emergency Behavior Intervention •Other: ________________ 2. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
3. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
4. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
5. Demonstrate the ability to:
a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
b. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish.
c. Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.
d. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
e. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
6. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Residential Services policies and procedures.
