Job Summary

CAM (Carlisle Architectural Metals - Drexel Metals and Pac-clad) has a new opportunity for a Metals Product Specialist to join the team in Carlisle, PA. This position will help coordinate, and participate in the development of marketing strategies, communication efforts, maintenance and innovation for the designated category of products. The individual in this role will be responsible for contributing technical support to Carlisle Sales Reps on product and equipment related questions as well as developing continuing education information on installation best practices. This position will also support the efforts of the Carlisle Architectural Metals product line (exterior metal roofing and wall panels) in all aspects of product development and marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
* Maintains knowledge on emerging products and services.
* Executes efforts to develop new products in this category
* Maintains and develops promotional product literature and collateral
* Establishes project priority for product line development in collaboration with R&D and Operations
* Executes customer facing product promotion activities including presentations and training, jobs-site visits, etc.
* Designates and oversees code requirements and certifications
* Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of
* Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at
* Serves as the product knowledge expert for the Carlisle Architectural Metals product line

Equipment Used:

* Standard office
* Construction materials such as hand and power tools, spreaders and rollers, spray guns, pumps, mixers, and ladders.

Working Conditions:

* Office and field
* Exposure to rooftop weather conditions when in the
* Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5

Travel Requirement:

* The required travel for this position may average up to three days per

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or construction management strongly preferred
* Two to five years of experience in the specified product category or in the general construction industry or experience operating, maintaining, the designated equipment desired
