BCForward is currently seeking for a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst for a Remote Opportunity in

Minnesota

Position Title: Business Systems Analyst

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Anticipated Start Date: 06/03/2024.

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCForward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 6 Months

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Pay Range: $50/hr - $61/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job

responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem,

etc.).

What Else Will You Do?

• Act as an IT Business Analyst for the Digital Farm Management team at one of the largest cooperatives in the world
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a good understanding of business systems, industry requirements, and available IT solutions
• Take ownership of support activities for assigned applications
• Analyze business and user needs, document requirements/user stories, and manage development of simple enhancements or simple development project
• Provide test plans and test cases if formal quality assurance resources are not involved. If formal quality assurance resources are involved, support the QA resource with test plan and test case efforts
• Perform functional testing of enhancements or development efforts and assure proper user acceptance testing of completed projects.
• Manage change control requests to production deployment
• Provide new user training on supported applications as requested
• Quantify business benefits to be delivered by the project or enhancement
• Tracking of problems, requests and suggestions for assigned applications
• Guide business customers through business case development for new applications/functionality, including cost/benefit analysis and risk/impact analysis.
• Identify process efficiencies, recommend innovative uses of software functionality, design, implement solutions and train end-users.

What Experience Should You Have

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• 4 years of working experience including 1+ years of business systems analysis experience to include: Business process definition, requirements definition, and development and support of integrated business applications.
• Experience working with Agricultural Retail business.
• Preferred Qualifications: (desired)
• Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Business, or related field
• Project management experience or certification
• Experience with Microsoft's Azure DevOps platform.
