We are seeking a highly quantitative, driven, and creative individual on the Growth Marketing Finance team to build robust forecast models, optimize, and operationalize monthly work streams, identify and understand high level trends, and provide ongoing strategic decision support.In this role, you will join a team that manages the finances for Meta's Growth Marketing, a group whose mission is to lead growth initiatives for Meta's most important products, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger. The Growth Marketing Finance's focus on analysis and data-driven decision-making allows us to work effectively with our colleagues in the rest of the business to optimize long-term financial growth. This position will allow you to apply your expertise in data modeling, strategic thinking, and financial controllership to see beyond the numbers and understand and identify underlying business drivers to ultimately ensure our business partners are making the best investment decisions.

Business Operations Associate - Product Growth Finance Responsibilities:

  • Support financial planning and reporting deliverables - including monthly financial presentations to business partners, quarterly close and forecasts, and annual budget
  • Understand basic accounting principles such as accruals, amortizations, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Partner with performance marketing, SMS product growth, global experience, data science, and other business-facing teams to size and forecast opportunities
  • Build financial models to support long-range planning and evaluate near-term investment decisions
  • Dive deep into the Growth Marketing business to build a nuanced understanding of how it runs and the key metrics that drive its performance
  • Review purchase requests to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial budget
  • Key drivers of business performance
  • Identify, develop, and track product and financial metrics


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in corporate finance, consulting, business strategy, or analytics
  • BA/BS in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative field
  • Experience program managing monthly and quarterly close and forecast cycles
  • Experience with accounting concepts and financial planning
  • Experience doing quantitative analysis and using SQL and/or other programming language
  • Experience in making analytical, data-driven decisions and communicating the results of analyses
  • Experience with building financial models in Excel to automate reporting
  • Experience developing analytical frameworks and communicating concepts to leadership
  • Experience working and problem solving independently, organizing workload and priorities, and completing tasks on time
