As a SaaS solution, Kustomer enables fast, personalized, and efficient customer and agent experiences using complete customer visibility, seamless omni-channel conversations, intelligent automation and easy, no-code customization to adapt to change. As a Business Development Lead, you will oversee the Business Development team reporting into our Business Development Organization. Our Business Development team is responsible for generating pipeline through outbound outreach, partnering closely with our Account Executives to engage, qualify, and close business. You'll be directly responsible for building out the team and driving efficiency into their operating models.

Business Development Lead, Kustomer Responsibilities:

  • Coach and develop a team of high performing Business Development Representatives
  • Foster a culture of high energy, ambition and continuous improvement on the team
  • Work closely with sales and marketing leadership to drive account-based strategy and continuously meet qualified opportunity and pipeline goals
  • Work closely with sales and marketing operations to scale process and improve efficiencies
  • Scale sales development playbook for effective prospecting and best practices
  • Take a data-driven approach to uncover trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage sales development tech stack (CRM, Sales Engagement, Data Provider, etc.)
  • Assist with hiring, developing, and mentoring new team members
  • May involve handling sensitive personal data

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in a customer-focused, collaborative, and data-driven environment
  • 4+ years of experience in a sales or similar environment
  • Track record of operating independently and delivering results, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results
  • Presentation and communication experience
  • 1+ years of experience leading a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Experience at a SaaS company
