Business Development Executive - XpertHR - New York

Our New Business team is growing!!

The Business Development Executive will report to the East Sales Team Leader and work as part of our award-winning sales team. You will be responsible for partnering with our Sales Executives and generating and qualifying new business opportunities through online research, identifying new contacts, emailing and strategic calling.

Duties

  • Manage outbound sales campaigns into designated prospect lists, booking follow up calls and product demonstrations.
  • Identify, build and develop relationships with key decision makers, establishing a network of contacts within prospects.
  • Engage prospects in a detailed discovery process to identify relevant customer needs and position XpertHR as a partner of choice that will be able to solve the customer's challenges and meet or deliver on their People Strategy.

Skills and experience

Essential
  • Enjoy working in a structured, targeted environment.
  • Professional and clear telephone manner
  • Highly competitive, self-motivated, organized and able to manage own time.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a changing market, our customers and the business.
  • Enjoys and works well in a team environment.
  • Openness to learn.

Desired
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A degree or equivalent is desirable.
  • Previous outbound sales experience would be preferred.
