Description: Our client is currently seeking a Business Analyst (Marketing)

This job will have the following responsibilities:


The Marketing Operations Group provides operational analysis and implementation support for retail mass marketing products, projects, reporting, campaigns, mass customer communications, customer marketing programs, marketing channels, and regulatory activities.

This team is responsible for liaising with IT, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, Customer Care, Mass Operations, and external vendor partners to accomplish results for the Residential, Small Business, and Builder/Multi-Family and Home Solar market segments. Successful team members demonstrate the ability to effectively document processes, solve problems, and address issues across multiple functional groups (e.g., Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, Customer Care, Channel Management, Transaction Processing, Billing, IT, Credit/Collections, Online, Telephony, Third Party Partners, Database Operations).

Specific Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Document business processes for the current state and proposed future state as well as present gaps and findings to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with IT for solutions requiring system changes, including documenting final requirements, participating in design sessions, and testing.
  • Build process workflows and maintain document inventories. Capture meeting notes. Organize project artifacts in a project repository.
  • Coordinate activities with stakeholders, subject matter experts, project managers, and project team members. Be prepared to perform some project management responsibilities.
  • Lead meetings and manage action items.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, project coordination, or continuous improvement role.
  • Experience leading or supporting cross-functional team projects from requirements to implementation required.
  • Experience with leading process review workshops in large group settings.
  • Experiencing understanding, creating, and documenting workflows.
  • Computer skills, including intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio skills with exposure to SharePoint and Teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work, plan, and prioritize efforts independently to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to organize a heavy individual workload.
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
  • Experience documenting requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required with a focus on operations, computer science or engineering preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in the retail energy industry preferred.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High initiative.
  • Demonstrates ability in facilitating clear and concise conversations in conference calls over the phone and/or web.
  • Works effectively and builds relationships with people at all levels - solid team player.
