Primary Responsibility
The Billing Associate performs billing, generates accurate invoicing, tracks all late payments, escalates correction issues to management and keeps management informed weekly on current monthly generated revenues. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, good problem solving skills, very strong customer service orientation and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generates accurate invoicing in a timely manner.
  • Makes collection calls to customers or vendors with past due payments.
  • Adheres to pricing guidelines established by department.
  • Generates reports for billing and collections as needed.
  • Responds to customer complaints and questions relate to billing in a timely manner.
  • Generates debit/credit memo as needed.
  • Ensures all pricing are accurately set up in system.
  • Ensures collection notes are updated.
  • Ensures appropriate paperwork is forwarded to AR in a timely manner
  • Serves as back up for Customer Services support.
  • Ensures all reports pertaining to responsibility are completed on time.
Education & Experience
  • 2 years of billing experience required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail required.
  • Shift flexibility and overtime when needed.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
  • Understands the basic philosophy of Goodwill and participates fully in carrying out its mission.
  • Adheres to Goodwill's values of Respect, Integrity, Service, & Excellence.
  • COVID vaccination verification.
  • Drug Screen and Background check required.
