The Bead Supply Planner is responsible for leading efforts for developing global production supply plans, considering forecasted demand, availability of materials and manufacturing capacity. Critical activities include OEE improvements, anticipation of cross functional business requirements, development of strategy for global production execution, coordination of multi-echelon implementations, with full accountability for targeted business deliverables. In charge of production plan and scheduling across multiple sites in a high complexity environment. May lead functional teams on projects.

This position is part of the Global Bead Supply Chain team, located on site in Sunnyvale.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage planning, scheduling, and quality of reagents material movement in accordance to demand within the production cycles to provide support of customers and global demand.
  • Manage global demand analytics, operational experience, and context to drive change to existing standard work through recommended new approaches and innovative solutions.
  • Develop balanced factory optimization schedules to ensure customer demands and factory utilization targets are achieved.
  • Determine ERP driven material requirements and production execution schedules, with focus on planned inventory levels.
  • Oversee strategic scheduling of work orders in accordance to capacity and demand for required planning horizon.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related work experience OR Master's degree in field with 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience with SOPs, MRP, ISO, and JIT.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Reagent manufacturing experience in FDA regulated industry.
  • Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP
  • MES, Advanced Planning System and APICS principles.
