Position Summary

Offer creative, and technical contributions to installing and managing system or server configurations and providing maintenance to ensure the integrity of the operating environment (monitor performance, predict requirements, implement changes, etc.).

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in the following: Configure, monitor, test, and modify system software and utilities to optimize performance of systems.

Help in identifying, determining the root cause of, and correct instances of server unavailability.

Monitor performance and capacity using available tools.

Adhere to problem and change management policies.

Contribute to system life cycle planning initiatives.

Be available for on call job rotation.

Work collaboratively with all IT functions.

Participate as part of a software team practicing Agile.

Continuously develop and maintain KB articles

Be a learner.

Education, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
• 1 - 4 years of professional IT experience.
• Solid understanding of current/planned system service levels and disaster recovery procedures.
• Progressively responsible experience with internetworking architectures in a production data center, or supporting a major operating system in a full scale, large volume production environment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting in production environment (E.g. spot errors in logging database).
• Experience with ServiceNow and production support process.
• Experience with MS SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience in AWS environment.
• Worked in Agile/scrum team.
• Basic knowledge of Visual Studio and .NET.
• Familiar with Confluence and Jira.
