PURPOSE:





The Associate Market Manager is a position that supports both the MTO and stock Market Managers in their leadership of those businesses. This position is intended to expose the Associate Market Manager not only to the strategies and tactics developed and implemented by the Market Managers for their product categories but also provides opportunities for them to interact and work with different functions within the organization such as product, merchandising, sales, and finance. This position is key in supporting product launches as well as digital initiatives for both MTO and stock products.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:




* Support MTO and Stock product launch physical and digital asset creation activities including showroom support, catalogs, spec guides, launch brochures, layouts, POP materials, and other assets needed for launch
* Support in communications to the commercial team
* Upload and maintain all digital assets in marketing’s digital asset manager
* Gather and maintain competitor price, product, and programming information
* Provide channel product mix, product performance, and brand performance analysis
* Support digital UX by working closely with Digital Team to manage and update websites and assist in monitoring channel social media platforms
* Address ad-hock marketing requests from the commercial team and customers
* Demonstrate understanding of key business drivers including revenue, profitability, and contractual agreements
* Adherence and promotion of the company’s core values and CITE principals



PRIMARY MEASUREMENTS:


* Execution of projects on time and within budget

* The Associate Brand Manager will have no direct reports.

* QUALIFICATIONS:
*
* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

* Education and/or Experience
* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, technology, or related field preferred, graduate degree in listed fields is a plus
* Minimum of 3 years of marketing, communications, digital, or sales experience with a total of 5 years of work experience.
* Excellent planning, project management, and organizing skills -- high attention to detail
* Advanced oral and written communication skills, including experience with business presentations
* Experience working in an eCommerce / digital environment and utilizing social media platforms for business purposes.
* Advanced computer skills especially utilizing Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint, Word, and knowledge of creative software such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
* Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and organization skills
* The ability to build effective business relationships.



Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents including technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to listen and communicate effectively with customers/clients in an effort to carry out responsibilities or respond to common inquiries from customers/clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community and public. Ability to develop presentations to be delivered to management and large groups.



Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret graphs and diagrams.



Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and lift a minimum of 20 pounds.



WORKING ENVIRONMENT:



Flexible work schedule with minimum 3 days in office per week and 2 work from home days optional. Required days in office may be set by supervisor. Typical office environment. The noise level is usually moderate. Up to 25% out-of-town travel may be required for client/field support, plant product and process review, meeting with agencies, and the similar. Initial commercialization phases may require travel more than 25%. Occasional weekend work and extended evening hours may be necessary.
