The AD will supervise the MPH Program Coordinator, MPH Education Coordinator, and Fieldwork & Community Engagement Manager. The AD will oversee the Teaching Assistant application process and assignments, manage academic records for all MPH students to ensure compliance for degree completion, including monitoring requirements prior to graduation within University systems. The AD will provide academic and career/professional advising to MPH students. The AD will oversee the new online admission process (approximately 450 applications per year) and compile and analyze statistics on admissions, become expert on national admissions trends, and oversee the recruitment and marketing of the MPH program. The AD will oversee the course schedule and classroom space needs and support faculty in the MPH program which runs approximately 40 PUBH courses each academic year. The AD will work with the Chairperson and serve on the MPH Curriculum Committee and the Admission Committee, as well as the MPH Steering Committee. The AD will develop and administer current and graduating student surveys for quality improvement purposes. The AD will oversee all data collection and be responsible for data analysis and reporting at the program and University level, as well as the related record keeping, data monitoring and reporting for accreditation. The AD will organize, oversee and lead panels and workshops for current students, including, but not limited to career panels, orientation, and graduation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Masters degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor new MPH Program Coordinator, Program Administrator, and Community Outreach Manager for all MPH student-related activities, including but not limited to: Required fieldwork experience, admissions process, prospective student recruitment strategies, course registration and scheduling, classroom management, all student communications, and alumni outreach.
Design evaluation strategies and implement evaluation plans and data collection for the overall MPH program, including surveys of current students and alumni. Supervise MPH team members who will assist with the evaluation process and oversee all data collection. Compile data and reports as needed for accreditation and for University-level reporting and be responsible for data analysis and reporting at the program and University level.
Manage strategies for educational and training initiatives for public health workforce development, including community-based public health partnership activities, as per CEPH accreditation requirements. Organize, oversee, and lead panels, workshops, and events for current MPH students, including, but not limited to career panels, orientation, and graduation.
Oversee and lead all academic advising, including training all academic advisors, to ensure all MPH students meet the CEPH requirements for attainment of foundational and track competencies and meet the program's requirements for graduation in a timely manner.
Manage collaborations between the MPH program and other University graduate program staff to design and implement dual degree programs. Conduct regular check-ins with advisors across dual degree programs and maintain relationships. Hold advising team meetings with both program staff and students to ensure students are on track to complete all requirements and have the support they need.
Represent the MPH program for important matters concerning student well-being, including (but not limited to) student physical and mental health, sexual harassment or violence, and student conduct issues. Coordinate with University officials to offer trainings for students, staff, and faculty.
Teach one MPH course per academic year.
