Great opportunity for a mid-level (3rd-6th year) Derivatives associate who wants to be part of an active and established Derivatives team. Shearman & Sterling's Derivatives & Structured Products practice is widely recognized for representing the full spectrum of market participants across the complete range of derivatives products and asset classes. Our clients include a broad range of U.S. and global financial institutions, hedge and private equity funds, private clients, asset managers, corporations, multinationals and investors. We are also one of only a few firms in the world with the experience required to represent market infrastructure providers and leading clearing organizations. Prime Brokerage, ISDA negotiation, digital asset experience is a plus. Candidates should have solid Big Law Derivatives experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school. Must be eligible to practice law as a member of the New York bar.

Shearman & Sterling's compensation is aligned with the standard market-rate salary scale. The good faith, annualized salary range for this position is $225,000 to $435,000 depending on the candidate's overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law such as, education, training, other responsibilities. The annual salary range listed is just one component of Shearman & Sterling's total compensation and benefits package which includes a discretionary bonus, paid leave, life, health, accident and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
