Job Description

Position Overview

As an Assistant Project Manager, Real Estate, you will be responsible for assisting with the general oversight of Invenergy's Global Real Estate portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight of all Development Offices real estate transactions to include: coordination with local onsite team negotiate renewals, brokerage selection for office expansions, lease execution review with Legal, Insurance & Director of Global Real Estate.
  • Work closely with the Legal team on all aspects of real estate documents including LOI's, Leases, Amendments, Estoppels, etc.
  • Gather pertinent documents, distribute, file and upload into a file management repository database.
  • Ability to work with a real estate database and create reports.
  • Prepare Purchase Orders, review and approve invoices, OPEX reconciliations, and submit project costs to various stakeholders.
  • Review and receive monthly rent reconciliation and facilities work orders for both corporate and development offices and assist new office personnel with AP rent payment set-up.
  • Work closely with Finance on budgets, various initiatives, and strategies for cost-savings, forecasting and reporting.
  • Assist in creation of the standard operating procedures manual (SOP's) for various real estate/facilities related projects. (i.e., new office request, move management, RFP development, vendor/product sourcing, new buildouts, RE transactions, rent invoicing, etc.).
  • Work closely with the facilities team on utilization & headcount reports, special projects, reconfiguration of floor plans, space utilization/optimization, hoteling strategies, sourcing opportunities, and real estate financial analysis.
  • Assist the Project Manager of Real Estate with new buildout projects and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team.
  • Manage the flow of project information between the team and the internal client, through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Assist the Project Manager of Real Estate in project vendor selection (architect, construction contractor, engineer, etc.).
  • Assist the Project Manger of Real Estate with coordination of designers, contractors and other team members to establish proper project budget, scope and schedule.
  • Assist the Project Manager of Real Estate with leadership of weekly project meetings with consultants and internal partners, attend all IT project meetings to ensure all projects are properly coordinated and communicated to all internal groups as required.
  • Assist the Project Manager of Real Estate & Director of Global Real Estate with the creation of both short-term and long-term strategic planning for the entire Global Real Estate portfolio.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of project management experience in construction services or real estate business.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
