About the Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our growing team in Peachtree Corners, GA. The ideal candidate possesses 2 or more years of related experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will be mentored by our dynamic team of professionals while supporting a range of multidisciplinary design-build projects. The APM will report to a Project Manager for a project or multiple projects based in the USA or Canada, and will manage administrative and technical requirements for delivery of construction management services. Typical responsibilities include the following:
Experience and Qualifications
- 2 or more years of related project experience, preferably in the construction management field
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including (but not limited to) Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work in a variety of environments including typical office environments as well as on job sites or temporary office/trailer on a site
- Ability to work well within a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, multi-task, and be self-motivated to produce high-quality work
- Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
- Ability to travel 50% of the time; this may include travel out of the United States, ability to travel with a valid passport is required for this role
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing project scope descriptions and bid packages, performing take-offs, qualifying subcontractors/suppliers and soliciting pricing, performing analyses
- Assisting in the development of General Conditions and Requirements, estimating and developing project budgets, schedules of value, reporting
- Developing construction CPM schedules, facilitating reviews with Clients, subcontractors and other external parties, maintaining progress reporting
- Administration of Prime Contract and Subcontracts including managing change orders and other workflows
- Facilitating timely and high-quality workflow for submittals and RFIs
- Regular travel to jobsites in USA and Canada, potentially temporary living, to support field staff, to lead meetings, to problem solve, to ensure documentation and other requirements
- Facilitate project turnover and closeout processes
- Building effective client and subcontractor relationships that reflect our core values

Additional Information Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Assistant Project Manager II with a salary range of $65,600.00 - $99,800.00 .
