Assistant Designer
About the Role
The Assistant Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting the graphic design team with trend right and age appropriate graphics, artwork, sketches, and tech packs. Daily responsibilities include updating current CADs, line sheets, working alongside other graphic design assistant to keep consistent and timely workflow.
• Work with senior graphic designer to create artwork for the O12 team, which includes all departments ranging from handbags, SLGs, fashion accessories, room décor, bridal, tech, and events
• Prepare spec packs and line sheets in a timely fashion and distribute them weekly to the entire company
• Product design specifically for room décor, home goods, bridal, events - which includes Claire's O12 and Icing
• Organizing samples, approvals, and bought prints
• Research current trends and help create trend boards for each season
• Communicate with sourcing offices and vendors about approvals, changes, and execution of product
• Establish a good working relationship with the buying team, especially for room décor and bridal
• Meet all calendar deadlines
• Organize presentation boards and assist in the preparation of meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
