Summary
The Social Work Program invites applications for a nine-month qualified rank position at the Assistant Clinical Professor level to start August 12, 2024. The role of this position is to coordinate the newly created University Partnership Program (UPP). The UPP initiative offers targeted career preparation for students interested in a career in child welfare. This position is reviewed annually for renewal.

The Social Work program is one of the fastest growing programs on campus and currently serves over three hundred students. The program offers a BS in Social Work, as well as an MSW. Essential Functions
Responsibilities include development, implementation, evaluation, recruitment, and marketing of the UPP Program. Teach child welfare courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Assess, place, and monitor students in field internships at local Public Children's Services Agencies (PCSAs) and offer employment coaching. Manage, monitor, track, report, and evaluate UPP activities as prescribed by Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Enter accurate and timely UPP student data into data management system for tracking and reporting purposes.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates are required to hold an MSW degree from an accredited social work program and be a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in child welfare or closely related experience working with children and families.
Ability to travel independently is required.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have previous teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with Licensure as an Independent Social Worker (LISW) or work experience with PCSAs, CAPMIS, and SACWIS, and knowledge of local social services.
