Job Description:
The Nebraska Attorney General's Office is currently seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Bureau. The Consumer Protection Bureau represents the State of Nebraska in any matters related to Consumer Protection, Antitrust, Charities, and Enforcement of Tobacco matters related to the 1998 Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement.

The Consumer Protection Bureau is a primary tool to protect Nebraska consumers, both in federal and state court.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
•Litigating cases within the Bureau's areas of practice.
•Protecting Nebraska consumers through the enforcement of the Nebraska Consumer Protection Act and the Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act. .
•Working closely with other states and territories in multistate enforcement efforts, including anti-trust actions.
•Representing the Attorney General's Office at various meetings and trainings in-state and around the country.

Salary commensurate with comparable state agency positions and candidate experience. Full-time state benefits available.
