Responsibilities

Reporting to a Field Services Manager and collaborating with other Field Services Supervisors and Technicians, the Asset Management Analyst I will providefunctional support, and maintenance of the Tower Health enterprise wide IT Asset Management lifecycle process and Change Management Database (CMDB).

  • The analyst registers and/or ensures the registration of new Assets and Configuration Items (CIs).
  • Audits the CMDB as required and identifies discrepancies inthe CMDB.
  • Manages and administers lists, filters, forms, platform interfaces (to other data sources) and the data within tables. With direction imports sets into the CMDB.
  • Provides both operational and ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Follows fundamental principles of ITAM to implement ITSM processes.
  • Has a good understanding of IT hardware, components, and peripheral devices unique to the healthcare environment.
  • Has some experience with ITAM software for themanagement of incidents, requests and CMDB.
  • Is responsible for first level incident and request resolution.
  • Assists in locating missing equipment and devices in production.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for receiving and warehousing of IT assets.
  • With direction organizes used equipment received into reusable and recyclable assets.
  • Maintains accuratedocumentation at each stage of asset lifecycle.
  • Inventories and reports on consumable assets with direction from IT management and maintains consumablelevels in accordance with set plan.
  • Assists in the decommissioning of IT assets and properly disposes of equipment for recycling and secure destruction.
