Job Description
- Assemble sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and systems per manufacturing drawings, Bill of Materials and instructions
- Troubleshoot assemblies down to component level to determine root cause of failure and recommend corrective action
- Perform required repairs/refurbishments to return assembly to operational state
- Operate hand tools and small power tools and understand their use and function
- Inspect all work before passing it on to the next operation
- Keep supervisor appraised of all unresolved and/or potential problems that would negatively affect production schedules
- Fill out daily time sheets
- Provide support to the production leads, production supervisors, and managers on all production assignments, and working with other departments (R&D support) regarding special work assignments
- Conduct Cycle Counts
- Pick/Inspect Parts and prep for Paint Department
- Adhere to all Safety policies and guidelines
- Complete required Safety and Legal Training as assigned
- Work cooperatively in a Team environment
- Other duties assigned
