Your Role:

As an Analytical Chemist you will join the Analytical Technology group for the analysis of trace metallic impurities in lithography chemicals and other formulations used in the semiconductor fabrication industry, in Branchburg, NJ. Job Responsibilities include:

  • Develops and validates analytical methods for trace metals analysis and transferring operating procedures to production QC laboratories
  • Able to work independently and communicate across different business channels
  • Supports new product development
  • Works closely with R&D, production, quality, and commercial teams to ensure rapid delivery of new products to customers
  • Performs routine and non-routine sample analysis
  • Assists in data gathering and data analysis for Process Change Notifications
  • Provides analytical and troubleshooting support for product quality issues
  • Conducts hands-on laboratory work
  • Work with ICPMS, ICPOES and other analytical instrumentation

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, or related Scientific discipline
  • 2+ years' hands on experience with ICPMS

OR

  • Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, or related Scientific discipline
  • 5+ years' of industrial experience
  • 2+ years' hands on experience with ICPMS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proactive candidate who is able to work alone on projects
  • Experience with chromatographic and spectroscopic methods
  • Analytical method development experience
  • Advance Statistical Techniques / Data Mining experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that support a diverse team environment
  • Creativity and strong problem-solving skills
  • A strong technical understanding of fundamental light scattering and its application for particle size measurement
  • Experience with method development
  • Strong fundamentals and practical experience in the use of statistics to develop data reliability information
  • Demonstrate creativity and strong problem-solving skills
  • Analytical method development experience
