What you will do

This position is responsible for professionally representing JCI in the implementation of processes that maximize the revenue opportunities, revenue in force (RIF) and EBIT for the Districts. This position is associated with the quoting of National Account inspection deficiencies.

How you will do it

  • Professionally represent JCI in the deficiencies program.
  • Work in coordination with the JCI offices to ensure the timely review of all National Account deficiencies and service quotes submitted by the field.
  • Assist in the reduction of the number of days to quote from its current level, moving towards a goal of 2 days to quote for Healthcare, and 5 days to quote for all others
  • Review a minimum of 20 field quotes per day on average
  • Review healthcare quotes, red tags, and urgent quotes in 2 Business days or less
  • Maintain an open un-reviewed quote backlog of no more than 7 Business days
  • Maintain a non-rejected quote percentage of 95% or greater
  • Submit required reports and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required.

What we look for

Associates Degree or equivalent in a technical or business discipline preferred. Bachelor's degree a plus.

One to three years' mechanical service experience in the Life Safety Industry, sales support or direct sales experience in a related business

Excellent communication and telephone skills. The ability to effectively communicate and work in a fast paced environment; must be able to work independently and show initiative and well balanced judgment. Must be a team player and must be able to gain the cooperation of others.

NFPA Code Knowledge is beneficial, but not required.
