Job Title: Advisor, US Medical Affairs Operations

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Job Description

The Advisor, US Medical Affairs Operations is responsible for leading the operational success within the US Medical Affairs (USMA) department. This includes leading Galderma Lab projects, managing external clinical study logistics, leading department-wide request for proposals (RFPs), managing department contracts, and other key activities to ensure efficiency and success of USMA.

Key Responsibilities

Provides support with all areas within USMA in coordinating operational activities with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and other departments to create contracts and SOWs, submit purchase requisitions and obtain purchase orders, monitor necessary approvals, and track invoices and payments.

  • Process invoices and payments after appropriate approval.
  • Leads Galderma Lab projects in development, execution, logistics, and ensures operational efficiency in meeting business needs
  • Participates in various Galderma Lab projects by using the Lab's bioinstrumentation and other capabilities on project volunteers
  • Accountable for compilation delivery of essential documents Assist in study start-up (regulatory binders, investigator meetings, presentations, CDAs, agreements, etc.
  • Collect, control and submit initial and subsequent regulatory documents to IRBs/IECs (including protocol and amendments) if applicable.
  • Serve as the contact and/or liaison for the CRO and Investigative sites for regulatory documents, clinical supplies, CRFs, study agreement (financial contract), and other pertinent administrative matters, as applicable.
  • Leads department-wide RFPs to ensure consistency across USMA functions in working with external vendors to streamline operations for efficiency
  • Participates in ad-hoc special projects as needed

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in a biological science preferred (biology, biochemistry, etc)
  • Proficiency with MS Office is required; must include strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of competency relating to administrative and clerical responsibilities, procedures, and systems
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of technical skills
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication (verbal/written); excellent grammar is required
  • Ability to demonstrate organizational/time management skills; must be able to balance multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
