Supports advancement by researching alumni and other constituents; planning, coordinating and/or implementing alumni programs to develop strong alumni and constituent relations, and conduct fundraising efforts with alumni, constituent or other external groups.

Uses discretion to modify work practices and processes to achieve results and/or improve efficiency

  • Maintain and ensure the data integrity of the donor database (ADVANCE) by performing periodic scheduled and random testing. Create and modify existing queries to retrieve information from the database to be used in all aspects of stewardship including gift acknowledgment, event execution and data analysis.
  • Manage Missouri S&Ts stewardship process by working collaboratively with campus constituents to produce a variety of communications. Compile, print, and mail the annual donor reports as legally required for each endowment benefiting campus. Ensure accurate data is included in each report and monitor awarding to ensure compliance to the endowment language and donor intent.
  • Serve as lead in executing the scholarship thank you sessions held bi-annually. Execute all components of the event including with academic departments and student financial assistance to ensure awarding of scholarship dollars is robust and maximizes the potential impact private scholarship dollars have on student success.
  • Provide general administrative support to team members and work in collaboration with internal and external constituents in support of stewardship efforts within university advancement. Manage the process of S&Ts donor acknowledgment plan.
  • Create, compile and report on stewardship and donor engagement metrics.
    Minimum Qualifications

    A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Five years' experience in database management and records management.
    • Proficiency in the use of computers with Windows-based operating environment and InDesign is required.
    • Has full proficiency of processes, procedures, systems, network (e.g., alumni, constituents), etc. gained through knowledge and/or experience
