Job Description Summary:
The Community Health Center, Inc. (CHCI) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and is part of the Mosses/Weitzman Health System (MWHS) which also houses the Weitzman Institute, the National Nurse Practitioner Residency and Fellowship Training Consortium (NNPRFTC), the National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA), and ConferMed. The Weitzman Institute Administrative Fellowship provides a 12-month, broad-based exposure to the operations and management of an innovative, technologically advanced FQHC with clinical and school-based sites throughout the state of Connecticut and offices in Colorado and California. The Fellow will have an in-depth, hands-on experience learning the inner workings of a complex, high quality, primary care delivery system caring for over 150,000 medically underserved patients. Each fellow will work closely with CHCI's senior leaders (CEO, Clinical Director, , Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer). The Fellow will be exposed to high-level executive meetings and senior-level decision making processes during each rotation. They will also be given the opportunity to participate in key projects that align with the organization's strategic priorities. All rotations will provide fellows with experiences that promote the development of personal and professional skills needed to pursue a career in healthcare focused on the medically underserved.

Description of Fellowship
The fellowship is designed to support the knowledge and skill development of postgraduate leaders in health care and community health, specifically focused on federally qualified health centers. The fellowship seeks to produce leaders who can lead community health centers using innovative approaches to provide the highest quality, patient- and family-centered care using a team-based, community-oriented model for care delivery.
