The Administrative Coordinator aids with administrative duties and functions across all Global Affairs units. This position will serve as one of two primary front desk support personnel, co-managing front desk operations including greeting and welcoming visitors, identifying visitor's needs, handling walk-in, phone, and email communications. Position will also provide administrative support to Global Affairs units (ordering supplies, sorting mail), time sensitive document collection and data entry, and scheduling needs for staff. The Administrative Coordinator must have the ability to interact with staff, faculty, and stakeholders (at all levels) with a high level of professionalism.

The highest level of client service and assistance to UNL faculty, staff, students, and international scholars is central to the university's teaching, research, and service mission.

Minimum qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of high-level responsibility in a professional office environment, equivalent education/experience considered. Experience in customer relations and/or student services. Proficient in relevant software programs, including Word and Excel.Excellent communication and organizational skills; sound judgment and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters. Must possess a strong student-centered philosophy and the ability to work effectively as a team member.

Preferred qualifications include:
Familiarity with UNL-specific software programs, including PeopleSoft and SUNAPSIS. Previous experience in a higher education environment, preferably in an diverse setting. Experience working with international students and scholars.
