Our hotel sales coordinator and administrative staff position work together as part of the operations and sales staff. Coordinating details of the event is also key to developing long-term relationships with clients. Excellent administrative, clerical, record-keeping and computing skills are essential for the sales support role. Employees must also demonstrate attention to detail so that they enter customers' requests accurately and issue clear instructions to other departments. Sales and Operation support professionals must have good interpersonal skills to deal with customers and collaborate with other departments in the company, such as marketing, production, accounts and distribution. They require excellent customer service skills to enable them to deal politely and effectively with customers' inquiries or complaints.

* Must know how to enter group blocks or be willing to learn

* Familiar with Hospitality Indusrty a plus

* Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

* Team Player with All Departments

* Great communication skills

* Supports needs of Sales Managers and Hotel Departments

* Answers, responds and distributes incoming calls to appropriate department heads

* Attends daily stand-up meetings

* Distributes weekly recap on Friday afternoon of all group activities for the forthcoming week

* Handles all Sales related correspondence, Group Resumes, and BEO's, including distribution to all departments

* Interacts with guests needing assistance with Banquet/Catering related matters

* Supports front desk for in-coming reservation requests, coverage of desk for breaks, back up support when needed for check-ins, answering phones to help front desk when it is needed

* Assist accounting with research, billing, or any such related needs

* Knowledge of Microsoft excel
