Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Temporary to Hire)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Administrative Assistant on a temporary-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge of MS Office applications, exceptional organizational skills, and a willingness to assist in various administrative tasks. This position will provide support to project managers, maintain office operations, and contribute to the energetic atmosphere of our workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support during regular business hours (8-5p).
  • Utilize MS Office suite for basic office tasks such as document creation, spreadsheet management, and email correspondence.
  • Assist in organizing office events and gatherings.
  • Track permits and licenses required for construction projects.
  • Assist in payroll tracking.
  • Maintain a well-organized office environment.
  • Manage incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
  • Order and maintain office supplies inventory.
  • Provide assistance to project managers as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Previous experience in administrative roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and task completion.
  • Experience or knowledge in construction industry practices is preferred.
