Duties of CONSULTANT

For over 30 years, New Season Treatment Centers have been a leading national health care service provider of outpatient treatment centers that specialize in providing safe, quality and best in class care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder ("OUD").

Operating in over 70 treatment centers in multiple states, our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management of individuals living with OUD. We treat the whole person and, in so doing, address the underlying causes of OUD in an effort to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery.

3.1. The responsibilities of CONSULTANT as Medical Director shall include, but not be limited to,: (a) Physical Examination of all patients upon admission, including, without limitation, annual physical examinations and health examinations, and review with patients of admissions-related laboratory results. All examinations shall be performed consistent with the applicable rules and regulations for medically-monitored treatment programs/facilities in the State in which the CLINIC operates; (b) Issuance of patient medication change orders and such verbal orders as may be issued from time to time; completion of re-admit physical examinations and annual physical examinations of all patients; (c) Availability to staff for emergency management of patient care; (d) Referral of patients to primary care providers for medical conditions other than narcotics addiction; (e) Training of nursing staff; (f) Supervision of nursing staff regarding change in medication dosage via verbal or written orders; (g) When possible, assist other CMG clinics with coverage via verbal or written orders; and (h) Other duties as reasonably requested by Program Director of CLINIC and as set forth in the rules and regulations for medically-monitored treatment programs/facilities in the State in which the CLINIC operates.
3.2. CONSULTANT shall abide by all of the rules, regulations, and policies established or promulgated by the CLINIC, either orally or in writing, from time to time.
3.3. CONSULTANT shall NOT provide any non-addictive related services to patients of CLINIC or colleagues of the CLINIC at any time. Treating CLINIC patients' and/or CLINIC colleagues' non-addiction needs at any time is a violation of this Agreement and grounds for the immediate termination of this Agreement. 3 CMG __________ Consultant______
3.4. CONSULTANT agrees to participate in a quarterly Medical Director's Conference Call, hosted by the corporate medical director.
3.5. CONSULTANT shall insure reasonable availability to provide all of the services under the terms of this Agreement. If, for any reason, CONSULTANT is not available to provide the services required hereunder, CONSULTANT shall inform the CLINIC as soon as possible. CLINIC shall be responsible for arranging for the services of another appropriately qualified physician.
3.6. CONSULTANT shall provide the CLINIC with thirty (30) days advance written notice of any reasonably foreseeable leave from his Medical Director duties for any period of time exceeding seven (7) days. If any leave, greater than seven (7) days is emergent, unexpected or unforeseeable, CONSULTANT is required to notify CLINIC immediately.
