Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing rehabilitation therapy services to patients in a methadone maintenance substance abuse treatment program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting individual and group counseling; gaining rapport with client, implementing clinical interventions, educating patients about drug abuse/HIV risk prevention and program philosophy including levels of care. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports, maintaining records on assigned caseload (e.g. psychosocial histories, progress notes, treatment plans and test results), participating in rounds, tracking urinalysis results and making referrals/maintaining communication with outside agencies in accordance with confidentiality guidelines. Day Shift, Full Time
Position is an eight hour day within a set schedule; 3-4 days, 1-2 evenings and a weekend rotation of four hours per day every other month.
