Vintun is actively seeking to fill a position for a Mid-Level Logistics Analyst supporting Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA.
Job Description/Tasks:
Performs logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. Provides analysis of the Integrated product Support Elements related to development, sustainment and integration of hardware, and software at all system levels; assists in the fielding and disposal or Marine Corps Equipment; develops Life Cycle Logistics documentation, and provides recommendations to mitigate logistics risks related to software intensive programs.
Be familiar with DoD 5000 documentation (e.g. Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Independent Logistics Assessments/Checklist, Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plan, Depot Source of Repair recommendations, Core Logistics Assessment, Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Stock List 3 (SL-3), Technical Manuals (TM), Manpower Analysis Reports (MAR), Manpower, Personnel, and Training Plan (MPTP), Fielding Plans, Disposal Plans, etc.), but open to developing new and tailorable documentation (e.g. Prototyping Plan, Experimentation Strategy, IT Deployment Strategy, etc.) in support of Middle Tier Acquisition (MTA) programs.
Develop and staff logistics documentation and participate in logistics-related activities that will assist government clients in getting technology / capability sets through the acquisition phases and milestones - with the end state being capable and sustainable solutions.
Assist the APM-L, MPT Lead, and Logistician in the development of acquisition logistics documentation. Interfaces with customers, vendors, and all stakeholders to resolve logistics and support problems.
Assess system of systems life cycle logistics issues and develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving logistics/program planning, control, and execution.
Prepare and assist in presenting formal briefings. Assist in facilitating meetings and in capturing minutes and action items.
Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing to executive level leadership stakeholders.
Work independently in a fast paced, high visibility program office while balancing multiple workloads.
Work closely with other competency members of Integrated Product Teams.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
